Green Acres is a unique West Texas destination with an 18-hole miniature golf course originally designed in the 1950s. After decades of use by the Midland community, the course had fallen into disrepair. Peak Land Design led the design of the restoration efforts, reviving the course to its former glory while adding modern updates that respect its historical charm. One of the primary challenges was creating accessible routes that meet today’s ADA standards without compromising the course's original layout. The landscape was redesigned to prioritize sustainability, using native plants to blend with the natural environment and reduce water usage. New playgrounds and interactive features were added throughout, providing fresh experiences for families and creating a renewed sense of vibrancy at this beloved community landmark.
